This position trains all current and new employees on Farmland's live animal handling and animal welfare policies and procedures. The incumbent will be responsible for the daily handling and movement of livestock in the plant yards.

1. Move livestock from the receiving area to the scales and to the holding pens.
2. Train all current and new hires that handle livestock on Farmland's current livestock handling and welfare policies. Train all Farmland Foods employees and truckers on the Trucker Quality Assurance (TQA) program.
3. Scale and record live livestock weights and process the producers' documentation.
4. Accurately account for all incoming lots of livestock.
5. Sort off and accurately pen and account for all cull and non-market livestock.
6. Perform livestock handling and welfare audits on a weekly basis.
7. Proactively continue education on livestock handling and welfare as well as trainer status.
8. Humanely euthanize non-ambulatory, non-injured (NANI) livestock in the trailer and move livestock from the alleys and pens to the suspect pen.

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified in Animal Handling Instruction.
Truckers Quality Assurance (TQA) Instructor Certification
Working knowledge of livestock handling tools.
Working knowledge and experience with captive bolt gun.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
