Warehouse Shift Supervisor:
Established wholesale distributor in Antioch area seeks experienced warehouse supervisor to oversee day shift operations. Scope of duties:
Ensures operational procedures for handling and disposition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current
Ensures physical condition of warehouse and equipment are properly maintained
Ensures work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment are submitted to the appropriate persons
Ensures safe operation of the warehouse including meeting company standards for sanitation, maintenance, security and housekeeping
Reports employees' hours worked to Payroll on a weekly basis
Directs, coordinates, and evaluates assigned unit(s) by carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Addresses complaints and resolves problems
Position requires prior supervisory experience in warehousing operation.
This is a Direct Hire position (NOT Temp or Temp to Hire). All fees paid by client company.
Location: Antioch, TN
Hours: 7:30a-4:30p - Monday-Thursday
Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
