Weekend DC Loader Line Lead
The Georgetown processing plant has opening for Line Lead in the following departments: Weekend DC Loader Line Lead
ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
The overall purpose of this position, i.e., what it accomplishes at picking and palletizing of cases from the case pick racks. To assign loads to teams of pickers. To inform pickers of product shortages, date code needs or other special conditions. To oversee associates work flow and see that policies and procedures of the case picking process are followed properly.
PRINCIPAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Tie, assemble and distribute pick list for case pick team work force.
2. Perform administrative task at the desk, for up to two hours variably up and down while interacting with associates, Management and Supervisors and operating a CRT keyboard.
3. Monitor and analyze systems information relative to inventory levels and advise on crew on shortages, date code availability, or other special conditions.
4. Diagram the items on each load for proper picking and palletizing and distribute to teams. Utilize manpower and equipment to maximum efficiency.
5. Communicate and work in cooperation with other lead personnel and Supervisors to see that racks remain stocked with product.
6. Other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management, which may include covering other line lead positions.
