Position
Summary:
Delivery, pick up, maintenance, and cleaning of all medical equipment for acute care, extended care and home patients
Position
Responsibilities:
Prepare medical equipment, disposables and documentation for delivery according to KCI USA Policy.
Prepare medical equipment and documentation for delivery.
Load and unload medical equipment.
Process delivery and pick-up documentation as required.
Searches for equipment that has been misplaced or lost
Ensure all routine vehicle maintenance is completed and records maintained in accordance with KCI USA Policy.
Maintain vehicle appearance to KCI USA standards.
Clean, disinfect, and QC medical equipment, using cleaners and solvents in accordance with KCI USA Policy.
Perform routine housekeeping duties.
Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as deemed appropriate and assigned by management.
Presents the highest level of customer etiquette in all patient/customer interactions in support of the sales and service teams
Conforms to, supports and enforces all KCI policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two years of service-related work experience.
Experience with Microsoft applications

Qualifications:
Must pass KCI functional assessments.
Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a MVR review/inspection.
Must be willing to travel by commercial air service to attend scheduled business and training functions when required.
Must have willingness and ability to work extended work week, including some evenings and weekends and participate in on-call duties after the close of business day and/or weekend.
Ability to work independently and elicit support and co-operation of co-workers.
Must present a positive image of KCI USA through adherence to account protocol and presentation of professional behavior at all times when interacting and interfacing with customers and employees. Good communication and proper business etiquette skills.
Prior customer service experience or aptitude.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
Essential Functions:
This position exists for transport, delivery, pick up and service of company medical equipment including loading and unloading of products and lifting and moving up to 48 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the Service Center Driver will be frequently standing, walking and sitting. The Service Center Driver must have the ability to use fine motor skills to operate equipment, machinery and/or company vehicles. In addition, the position requires the ability to comprehend work instructions and safety requirements to enter information into work logs and existing computer systems. Finally, the position requires the ability to work with solvents and cleaners to disinfect products in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
