Innovative economic development firm is seeking an experienced corporate controller, with significant work experience at a real estate equity fund, real estate loan fund or real estate development company highly desired.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business discipline and CPA (or willingness to obtain) required
5 to 10 years' experience as Controller with a small to medium sized company
Experience in taxes, financial services, lending, and developing process and procedures
Excellent Excel and QuickBooks skills, Access knowledge strongly preferred
Prefer candidate in West Los Angeles area
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee corporate budget and accounting staff
Responsible for general ledger and financial statements
Manage tax process for company and subsidiaries, manage corporate filings
Perform analytics to understand trends, issues and cash flow
Monitor investment and loan servicingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
