Project Overview
Some of the key task responsibilities will be:
o Work collaboratively with the CFO teams to understand the current finance data models and structures
o Carry out detailed analytical investigations and reconciliations in to multiple finance data sources to ensure they tie back to the golden source
o Design, Build and Test advanced finance models
o Partner with technology to create a technical specification for the Management Information System
o Partner with the Business and CFO to design User experiences and dashboards
o Working with business partner colleagues to drive forward best practice striving to develop common and standardized approaches and processes to deliver improved financial reporting analysis and insight to support business decisions
The role will interface with subject matter experts and business areas across the Wealth Management and Finance technology organizations to develop a best in class automated finance solution. This role will interact with various levels of management. This role will require the ability to lead project subtasks and ensure that deliverables are met in a timely and efficient manner
This is a fast paced environment where accuracy is critical and timelines are tight. We are looking for a motivated individual who has excellent analytical skills, advanced modelling and programming skills, adept at business partnering and possesses excellent communication skills. Financial industry knowledge as well as knowledge of the wealth management business and products is a plus.
The key skills required for this role include:
o Experience in finance systems design and/or modelling
o Experience in project management of technology related deliverables
o Advanced analytical capaibiltiy
o Exceptional interpersonal, consultative, negotiation and relationship building abilities
o Track record of delivering results through influencing and negotiation
o Ability to translate detailed financial analysis in to a technical design
o Must be highly organized, a self-starter that can demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness
o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
o Able to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
Basic Qualifications
o Years of Experience 5+
o Experienced in finance and/or finance technology function
o Advanced Analytical capability
o Excellent technical computer skills, ability to create advanced macros and have experience with programming in VBA / SAS
o Excellent analytical and communication skills and business judgment
TMJEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
