The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team providing technical and engineering services to USMC Air Traffic Control Systems worldwide. As the Engineering/Electronics Technician (ET), he/she will support electronic system, subsystem, component installation, integration, troubleshooting, and repair. This includes Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level of repair. The ET will also assist in test and evaluation of the responsible systems, and will need experience with test plans and procedures. Will be required to travel up to 25%25%20worldwide within 24 hour notification in support of USMC Air TrafficControl Systems. BAE Systems wants people who are self-starters and who have experience working in small teams.
This
position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's
County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air
Station.
Relocation

relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Skills and Education
High School diploma or GED and completion of U.S. Navy Electronics C School or equivalent and 4 years of related experience
At least 1 year of engineering technical/functional experience with Navy/Marine Corps ATC Systems
Experience in using test plans, procedures, schematics, technical manuals, drawings, and wirelists
Experience performing electronics systems Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level repair
Knowledge and experience in Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
Knowledge and experience on the proper use of common and specialty hand tools, general purpose electronic test equipment (GPETE) and special purpose electronic test equipment (SPETE)
Willingess totravel to CONUS/OCONUS locations (up to 25%25)
Experience in maintenance, repair, restoration, test, and evaluation of AN/TRN-31(V)ATNAVICS, AN/TSQ-263m TTCS, AN/TRN-44/47 TACAN
Preferred Skills and Education
Certified as a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) or Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR)
Experience using Microsoft Office applications
Flexibility to learn and utilize other systems supported by this competency
