Overview:
Working as a full-time Mfg. Lead Machinist, you will be responsible to ensure production flow through a team's scope of responsibility, while adhering to the core values of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity and Growth.
Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Lead and direct employees while utilizing continuous improvement practices in order to meet department policy goals.
o Build teamwork among all associates through effective communication and motivation to support achieving department and plant goals.
o Ensure that employees have the skills, knowledge and ability to perform current responsibilities. Provide leadership and guidance for future growth and development.
o Fairly and uniformly administer and uphold all company policies, work rules and government regulations.
o Take full and direct responsibility for all aspects of the team's performance.
o Measures of Performance:
o Safety, Quality, Delivery(Overall, Specials, FPY), Cost, 5S, Productivity(units/$/OEE), Lead Time Reduction and Continuous Improvement projects implemented with documented savings.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
o Knowledge of company policies and procedures
o Front-line leadership experience with effective skills in associate communication and scheduling
o Strong organizational, time and project management skills
o Previous experience operating machines
o Excellent Safety Record
o Basic math skills including decimals and fractions
o The ability to read and understand blueprints
o The ability to use and read micrometers and calipers
o Desire to continuously improve manufacturing process
o Must have the ability to lift 75 lbs
o Ability to pass the required drug test (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY).

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
