This request is to support Small Cell lab environment which has 4G (LTE) and 3G (WCDMA) small cell configurations.
The request includes supporting the following 4G configuration:
o Engineering and integration of 4G enodeB's on the LTE shared core
o Support both R13.3 and R14.x SAM to manage multiple enodeB's
o Upgrade/downgrade enodeB's as needed
The frequency of this will be determined by testing needs by the Small Cell development and test teams.
The request also includes supporting the following configurations in IHD lab:
o Execute upgrade/downgrade as needed on multiple network elements:
o WMS
o HDM
o FGW
o Small cells
o Troubleshoot connectivity and functional issues after upgrades
The frequency of this will be determined by testing needs by the Small Cell development and test teams.
The primary function is to provide functional test environments for Small Cell development and test teams. The IHD lab supports a configuration required for 4G and 3G small cell development. The network elements in this lab are required to move to specific loads and releases during each release. The function that needs to be supported is the ability to upgrade/downgrade all network elements that make up the IHD development environment as needed. The specific network elements are:
o WMS
o HDM
o FGW
o Small cells
They need to be moved to new loads/releases as needed and connectivity between all network elements and full end to end feature functionality must be verified.
The responsibility also includes the ability to integrate 4G enodeB's into an LTE shared core and verify end to end mobile to mobile LTE calls. This includes engineering of the equipment into the Core, provisioning all network elements to support the enodeB and verify full functionality.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
