About Plumbing & Fire Protection Senior Specialty Designer Opportunity:
The Plumbing & Fire Protection Senior Specialty Designer will be:
Responsible for the technical design of plumbing & fire protection (medical gases, piping and equipment for healthcare facilities as well as hot and cold water systems, sanitary and storm systems, fire protection water systems, including underground piping, sprays, hydrants etc.) systems for state of the art buildings.
Coordinate the work of other technical team members in producing final drawings and completing design tasks.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to team members as well as schedule, plan, conduct and coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work assigned to you.
Plumbing & Fire Protection Senior Specialty Designer Job Requirements:
CPD certification and 8
years experience in an A/E environment, with specialist level design expertise in plumbing/fire protection systems and solid knowledge of parallel disciplines.
Candidates must have the ability to plan, organize and provide direction to a team of professionals in a high production engineering environment
. A commitment to accuracy, precision and engineering excellence along with excellent communication, client interaction, and coaching skills is required.
An AA/AS degree and/or technical certifications in mechanical design are preferred.
