Maintain a clean and/or organized work environment.
Perform maintenance in accordance to required forms and procedures.
Perform corrective maintenance in a timely manner, using mechanical knowledge to determine if process will require repairs and/or parts replacement.
Assist in determining if repairs require outside vendor maintenance.
Operate and properly use vehicle alignment equipment.
Complete necessary preventive maintenance or repairs in an acceptable time frame to meet equipment schedule needs without supervision.
Possess any necessary safety equipment required to safety perform assigned jobs.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical system, air system, cooling system and ABS system .
Able to perform PM's and repairs needed without supervision.
Able to repeatedly lift 50lbs.
Properly use any required shop or testing equipment to perform assigned job.
Attention to detail.
Powered Industrial Truck certified.
1 year experience Tractor Tech.
Wed-Sat, 6pm-6am split Wed shift
REQUIREMENTS:
Regular and timely attendance is also an essential job function.
Mechanical skills and/or on-the-job experience.
Requires certifications in Air Brakes and Air Conditioning.
Basic working knowledge of all mechanical systems on Class-8 vehicles.
