Summary:
Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a Safety Supervisor for a manufacturing client in the Findlay, OH, area, to lead and direct the safety function and provide recommendations regarding safety initiatives and programs while supporting the strategic business plan of the plant and company.
Responsibilities:Lead program improvements related to the safety program, environmental compliance, safety training and site security
Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA and all environmental regulations
Coordinate all training activities related to health and safety
Maintain ISO and related systems
Assume the lead role on all third party certification audits
Conduct site reviews, writing audit/review reports, review findings and making recommendations to line management
Provide advice and counsel to line management on security policy and practices. Identifies exposures and recommends and/or develops corrective plans as appropriate
Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management and/or Investigation
Qualifications:Bachelors degree in human resources, safety, or a related field
3 to 5 years of related experience
Strong working knowledge of federal and state safety, health, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing environment
SAP experience a plus
