Our client is a fast growing leader in the Transportation, Warehousing and Third Party Logistics Industry. They are a full service logistics provider offering consolidation, transloading, store delivery, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and freight brokerage, with transportation, warehouse and yard management systems solutions. Their goal is to provide cost effective supply chain solutions in order to create competitive advantages for our customers. Currently we are seeking a WMS Super User to join the operation at the North Brunswick, NJ location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a deep understanding of the application functionality, configuration and interfaces of the warehouse management system.
Ensure the warehouse data that is populated in the WMS represents the facility layout characteristics and constraints of the warehouse and the customers.
Gain knowledge of the customer specific requirements and system set ups; be able to manage the operational processes in the system for each customer
Assist in the identification and design of any required application modifications as well as functional designs.
Assist with all labels, operational and metric reports, and data for each customer
Assist with the Training Program development and provide system guidance and assistance to the operations team; remain available to Operations to assist and resolve issues as necessary
Ability to problem solve and research/troubleshoot system issues; responsible for issue identification and resolution
Ability to configure system settings
Ability to remain up to date on system changes and development; be able to apply changes and updates to operation business practices
Operating the system as needed to ensure operational flow and functionality
Performing all WMS functions needed by the business
Responsible for the management of the WMS to increase efficiency, decrease operational costs, increase quality and streamline operational processes
Working in Warehouse Operations environment
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (including MS Project and MS PowerPoint),
Knowledge of all facets of the WMS Manhattan System or LogFire System, or another major WMS
General understanding of WMS applications.
Ability to use basic business mathematics (add subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to meet specific measurable goals while working in a fast paced environment.
2-3 years related experience supporting warehousing systems and business processesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
