Process Specialist - Requests for Quotation (RFQ)

Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary team evaluating and responding to customer RFQs (Requests for Quotation) in coordination with Project Leaders and Key Account Managers.
Secure required project inputs (volumes, specifications, & commercial contract requirements) for each RFQ evaluation.
Manage and minimize the RFQ response window, leading the creation of the business case assessment of each quotation, including cost walk support, potentially through multiple rounds.
Track RFQ status and the approval process and variances to OSRAM standards.
Travel expected. The position is critical to SSL OEM business development especially in the Q1 and Q2 project stages
BA required; MBA desired.
5 years related experience in sales, technical support, marketing or controlling.
Specialized or technical knowledge preferred:
Automotive industry (OEM, Tier1 or Tier2) experience helpful; familiarity with LED technology desired.
Strong analytic skills (with some financial acumen) must be demonstrated.
High proficiency with Excel
