Job Summary
Produce binders, certificates, policies, proposals, summaries of insurance and other insurance documents as requested. Follow agency program to cross sell and up sell accounts as appropriate, follow and adhere to service timelines and assist with complete coverage review ninety days prior to renewal. Perform internal quoting on select new/remarketed business as requested and refer current and prospective clients to Lawley Benefits Group, Risk Management, Specialty Lines and Personal Lines for solicitation as appropriate. Also act as a backup for the account manager in their absence.
Qualifications
Pertinent knowledge of insurance products and usages
Relevant understanding of insurance documents
Ability to utilize computer programs and understand their functionality; Applied experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and multi-task abilities
Results-oriented and resourceful
Willingness to pursue continuing education
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast paced environment with significant telephone and personal disruption
Ability to maintain a positive attitude, express enthusiasm and be flexible
Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables
Compatible with other employees
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Appropriately attired for a professional office environment
Property/Casualty License; insurance designations preferred
Minimum of one (1) year in a similar or related position
College degree preferred
