Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Quotations Specialist in ourHenderson, NVlocation.ResponsibilitiesAs a Quotations Specialist you will help with the development of quotations on various projects by the Regional Quotations Center, while establishing close relationships with the branches, vendors-representatives, and ensuring outstanding customer service. Some of your responsibilities will include the following:
o Maintain good customer
o Vendor relations
o Keep current of new products, trends and market cost and pricing
o Coordinate with vendors to ensure that pricing data is received in a timely manner
o Participate in the resolution of any and all pricing related issues
o Participate in corporate-wide initiatives involving pricing functions, philosophies or processes
o Build and maintain pricing measurements for decision making processes
o Gather required data for quote preparation
o Download required specs, plans take-off, etc.
o Start data entry of new quotes
o Contact vendors for job quotes
o Answer incoming phone calls
o Contacts branch quotations contact to maintain job win/loss record
o Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service
o Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
o Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
o Work overtime as needed
o Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatoryQualificationsA successful associate will be goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere.
o Computer experience with Outlook and Excel are REQUIRED
o Waterworks sales/quotations experience is PREFERRED
o Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
o Pleasant personality for phone sales
o Ambition to succeed
o Self Motivator
o Ability to multi-task
o Enthusiasm, courtesy and articulation
o Ability to learn quickly
o Service minded, aggressive and congenialPerformance Measurementso Number of quotations developed
