Duties - To support catering operations with logistical set ups, delivery, event set up, event service, customer service, event clean up, equipment maintenance & inventory. In addition, candidate will act as flex support for all campus retail and resident dining operations as needed.
Candidate must be a well-organized, self-starter capable of working independently. Candidate must have a professional well groomed appearance, have a valid Vermont driver's license, and able to safely operate medium sized delivery vehicles. Must possess strong communications skills, and be willing to work flexible hours any day of the week and early morning to late evenings.
This person should have basic food preparation skills including knife skills, garnishing skills, food safety training, and light grill/saut skills.
Physical Requirements - Be able to Lift 30 lbs. and able to stand for entire work shift. Bend and lift catering equipment on/off shelves and in/out of delivery vans.
Hours; This is a full time position which will be scheduled to meet weekly needs of at least 35 hours per week, except periods of school closures, such as Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, and summer periods. Scheduled days/hours will fluctuate based on business needs.
Experience; Candidate should have three years' experience in the Hospitality Industry, with minimum one year experience in food preparation. A reliable history of attendance and punctuality is also required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
