The Technology Analyst will support Client Management and customer contacts with technology & product questions, implementations, escalations and resolution of issues related to Online Booking Tool technology.
This position is created under the Group Air Department umbrella, as the clients of the Group Air Platform have a great need for technology support when scoping and implementing Online Meetings solutions. The scope of this role may also include collaboration with owners of third party registration tools such as CVENT, StarCite and others. Therefore, experience in the Group Air or Meetings arena is highly preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, facilitating travel program technology support, providing assistance with the on-line booking tool including demonstrations, implementations or escalations, interact with American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) client management and our customers to provide consultation around tool technology and training support. Leverage project management and analytical skills to support multiple programs and projects.
Additional responsibilities include:
Providing Online Booking Tool demo and training support
Working with internal groups and technology partners to analyze, prioritize, and resolve product issues.
Participating in OBT technology consultation with client management and partner with client conversations as applicable.
Consulting and partnering with client management and the client to understand technology requirements.
Researching and resolving escalated issues for online booking tool and interfacing programs and tools
Interfacing with clients, Client General Managers, and Global Business Travel technology groups that support products and online services for client programs.
Generating creative ideas to ensure products are used effectively.
Using analytical and creative approach to condense large amounts of information into a clear, concise, effective format.
Driving results by operating with a sense of urgency, employing effective time management to deliver results within deadlines.

Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of the Business Travel Industry; at least 3 years of experience is required.
Existing understanding of such as portals, online booking tools, profile products is required; experience with the online booking tools (GetThere, Axiom, and Concur), including maintenance, issue resolution, and consultation is highly preferred.
Sales Force experience is preferred.
Fully Proficient in MS Office Products
Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility.
Sound understanding of travel related data.
Interaction and communication with diverse working styles, ability to build and leverage strong working relationships.
Strong Project Management and organizational skills; the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands to meet deadlines.
Adaptation to change and new direction on short notice.
Ability to identify issues or challenges requiring escalation.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Self Starter - ability to work independently and keep up to date with product changes and developments
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.
