Oversees general maintenance, chemical, hazardous waste and contracted services personnel with regard to day to day maintenance services to ensure that company facilities/infrastructure are clean, safe and well maintained in a professional manner. In addition, purchase equipment and supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with code standards, company directives and regulatory requirements are met.
Required Skills and Education
Must have an active DoD secret clearance
Prepare, process and follow-up requests for service and materials.
Provide Purchase Requisitions and other documentation necessary so Procurement Office can place call orders on call contract agreements with vendors/subcontractors for service and materials. Ensure that the service and/or material being ordered is included in the contract and ensure that paperwork is completed properly before call is made.
Review invoices to verify accuracy of charges and process for signature approval.
Performs Safety inspections covering the ordering, storing, transportation and handling of hazardous waste, chemicals, gases, and equipment replacement/spare parts. Recognizes situations that could produce an unsafe working environment, fire hazard, explosion or pose a threat to human health and the environment.
Works from blueprints, equipment drawings and schematics, manufacturers' specifications and literature.
Collects, sorts and stores hazardous waste material in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
Prepare, schedule and evaluate aspects of the company maintenance program for company-owned, buildings and grounds.
Basic contractor skills
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
