We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team at our worldwide headquarters in Perrysburg,
OH.
This position is accountable for the procurement of Capital and Services (including sourcing, contract management,
cost savings, etc.) to ensure best practice and best total cost of ownership for North America.
Prinicipal Accountabilities:
(All other duties as assigned)
Develop and execution of strategic sourcing activities, leveraging industry best practices, commodity experience,
sourcing methodology and global partnerships whenever possible, under the supervision of the Procurement Manager.
Develop RFI / RFP / RFQ activities for new and existing requirements.
Negotiating contracts to meet business requirements and ensuring compliance with legal standards
Managing supplier performance in order to meet all quality and delivery requirements
Implement sourcing projects across multiple plants for standardization.
Develop and track KPIs /metrics including EBIT cost savings, working capital and inflation.
Proactively resolve issues (i.e., material shortages, quality issue, etc.) with vendors and internal customers
utilizing organizational savvy and problem solving skills.
Proactively aligns stakeholders for successful project implementation
Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Assists and / or leads special projects as required / assigned.
Scope and Impact:
This position will manage the procurement of Capital and Services totaling $20-40M for 17 plants in the United
States and 2 plants in Canada.
Position Requirements
Education and
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or related-area.
Minimum 3 - 5 years procurement experience (proficient in negotiations, contract management, and handled
strategic sourcing process).
Service/IT/Consulting/Capital Equipment experience preferred.
Proficient analytical and computer skills (excel and PowerPoint).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
SAP experience preferred.
Reporting Relationships:
This position reports to Procurement Manager.
Travel Requirements:
Travel required: 10% (US and Canada).
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
