Software Requirement Analyst
Term: Direct Placement
Salary Range: $70k to $85k w/ 5% bonus

Our Informatics department is seeking an experienced professional in the requirements analysis area related to software development. Their job duties will be to perform functional system analysis, use case development, and requirements development.
1. Experience performing all aspects of authoring requirements. This includes functional (behaviors of a software system) and non-functional (qualities of a software system) requirements specification development.
2. Demonstrable experience achieving and maintaining a solid understanding of a product as a whole, this includes development processes and strategy through clinical use. This experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
3. Experience with Rational DOORS or similar tools to develop requirements, use cases with activity diagrams (e.g. Business Flow Diagrams, Dataflow diagrams, UML diagrams), and test cases.
4. Experience in software development for commercial products with at least one Object Oriented language where development tasks have included user workflow development.
5. Require five years or more of professional experience in competencies 1-3. Require at least two years of professional experience in competency 4.
6. Require excellent oral, written, and listening skills to effectively communicate on business and technical topics and capture in documentation business and technical decisions.
7. Require a Bachelor of Science degree in one of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Science. Master of Science in Software Engineering desirable.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
