Works on multiple applications.
Provides informal mentoring to less experienced colleagues.

Provides design and documentation at an application or function capability level.
Participates in establishing and maintaining application standards and processes.
Effectively communicates application and technical direction to the business and within the customer s IT organization.
Advises on issues of systems integration, compatibility, scalability and multiple platforms.
Technical Skills and
Experience:
4 years Java - J2EE
3 years PL/SQL Development
4 years J2EE / Java Enterprise
3 years JavaScript
3 years Enterprise Java Beans 3 (EJB3)
1 years WebLogic 10 or higher
1 years WebSphere Application / Portal Server
3 years Oracle PL/SQL
3 years Unix / Linux
3 years Oracle
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Strong understanding of at least one programming language.
Strong knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging applications.
Strong knowledge of application configuration, maintenance and support.
Applies a broad knowledge of application programming and design to analyze and isolate issues.
Exceptional ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.
General understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs
The ideal candidate will possess:
Exceptional system / technical analysis skills
Minimum of three years OO analysis and design experience.
Minimum four years development experience with Java.
Minimum three years working in both Unix/Linux and Wintel environments.
Current experience working with app server packages preferably WebLogic / J2EE / EJB
Strong knowledge of the UNIX/Linux Operating system: shells, file systems, symbolic links, process management, etc.
Strong problem solving skills, ability to infer from previous examples, willingness to understand how an application is put together.
Proven development experience in large-scale, enterprise-style financial services applications
Required Skills:
Full development lifecycle experience as a mid-level programmer. Must demonstrate experience developing systems / projects from inception through implementation.
3-4 years technical experience w/ distributed systems, preferably 2 years w/ EJB.
Java - 4 years
J2EE / EJB - preferably WebLogic
High level of proficiency in Analysis, Design, Build, and Deployment of EJBs (strong server side experience)
Experience w/OOAD and an understanding of patterns
Experience with continuous integration build tools i.e. Hudson
Experience creating and maintaining ant build scripts
Experience coding in Groovy or similar language
Desired Skills:

years Oracle database programming experience, including performance tuning.
Solid understanding of MQ; JNI; JMS/MQ; Oracle/JDBC a strong plus
Experience in Linux/UNIX/Solaris/AIX; Shell programming / PERL a plus
Project experience with Web Sphere Application Server
Project experience with Web Sphere portal server
Experience using Web Sphere Portlet factory as development tool
Experience with AJAX
Experience with DOJO
Strong JavaScript development experience
Soft Skills:
Strong interpersonal communication; excellent written and verbal skills, a leader
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
