Hours: 40hrs per week; 8-1630
Job Details:
Analyzes, processes and responds to requests for protected health information while ensuring the patient's right to privacy. Assists other departments and health care providers.
Qualifications/Competencies:
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) preferred.
1 year or more, in a Health Information system (HIS) environment preferred.
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Must be detail oriented and proficient in medical/legal issues.
Knowledge of anatomy & physiology preferred.
