The Clinical Collection Representative is responsible for timely and effective collection of all discharged patient receivables relying heavily upon extensive interpersonal communication skills and decision making to maintain good customer relations while keeping in mind Hazelden Betty Ford's financial interest. Contact insurance companies and resolve issues causing delay in the processing of the claim.
Vocational or technical training required; requires a minimum of 2 years credit and collections experience in medical collection; knowledge of accounting and ability to originate correspondence required; must have the ability to comprehend and utilize effective collection process; must have knowledge and ability to operate a personal computer; good interpersonal and telephone communication skills a must; knowledge of the Twelve Step program desired.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
