Your daily responsibilities include:
Provides leadership and direction for all hotel cast members to ensure the highest level of customer service.
Handles guest concerns and complaints, ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
Trains new cast members and provide recurrent training for existing cast members.
Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
Controls room inventory, cashier transactions, and department coordination on a daily basis.
Maintains adequate supplies and inventory of all necessary items for hotel operations.
Prepares schedules to staff Front Desk, Wardrobe, Call Center, and Housekeeping accordingly, accommodating business demands.
Produces specific reports for Hotel Manager with all needed materials/data.
Attend staff meetings and pass on any pertinent information to cast members.
Conducts pre-shift meetings to discuss any new issues, events, policies, or problems.
Promotes a positive environment to achieve job satisfaction for all cast members.
Takes appropriate steps to maintain Hotel security and safety.
Posts room occupancy/revenue records.
Checks and counts linens and supplies.
Receives deliveries and counts inventory of all items.
Reports needed maintenance.
Records inspection results and notifies cast members of inadequacies.
Runs the daily credit authorization reports, and follow up on any discrepancies.
Assigns daily batch numbers and prepare a batch log.
Prepares daily telephone statistical reports.
Adjusts group allocations in reservation system as required.
Maintains attendance and payroll reports.
Promotes future sales through contact with guests.
Tracks daily and monthly merchandise sales.
Monitors and control inventory level of uniforms for each department.
Reviews uniforms for each position, places orders, tracks distribution and receipt of uniforms.
Keeps constant contact with departments as to uniform needs and/or any changes which may be required.
Completes inventory monthly charging departments as required from stock distribution.
Works with other supervisors on establishing and drafting, training manuals, customer service programs, and policies and procedures for all tasks performed.
Handles groups, junket transactions, and check-ins accordingly in timely manner.
Coordinates with other departments as needed.
Makes constant observation of cast member performance in all of hotel areas to assure excellent customer service levels.
Completes performance evaluations in a timely manner.
Provides positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
Performs duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Must be 21 years of age
Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
Cast Member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The Cast Member is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The Cast Member must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
