Licensed Clinical Social Worker
MedOptions is seeking a LCSW who has a passion for treating older adults and providing the highest quality care in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Our positions involve traveling to the same facilities on the same day every week to provide care to the residents.
At MedOptions, LCSW play a vital role in the effective treatment of symptoms and behaviors associated with dementia and psychiatric disorders. They perform initial evaluations, innovative behavioral management, traditional psychotherapy and milieu treatment. We are setting standards of care for dementia and behavioral health services in long-term care and sub acute rehab facilities.
The nursing homes and assisted living facilities that we provide behavioral health services to vary--there are traditional nursing homes and assisted living facilities, facilities that have a higher acute psychiatric population, ones that care primarily for veterans and others who have a variety of residents in both age and diagnosis.
JOB
Qualifications:
Have a master's degree in Social Work and be certified as a LCSW
Have an unrestricted state license as a LCSW
Prior geriatric experience is preferred
