Product Marketing Chemist

BROAD FUNCTION:
Interface with customers and sales to provide technical and application support for GC and FID based products, with a focus in the petrochemical industry.
Responsibilities:
Conduct product training and installations.
Support field pilot projects
Develop application specific methodology for GC based products.
Produce technical publications for ES products in conjunction with Marketing Communications and Product Marketing staff to include training, trade show and seminar presentations, Application and Technical Notes, as well as general marketing materials.
Manage product demo and training inventory.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. A Masters Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
Minimum of 2-4 years experience with GC or GC/MS instrumentation is required.
Experience in the Petrochemical Industry required (Oil and gas exploration) is required.
Technical writing experience is required.
Approximately 25-30% travel is required (international and domestic).
Public Speaking experience is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft and Adobe suite of products is preferred.
