Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking to hire a Technician IV, 2nd Shift, in Lynnwood, WA.

As a Technician IV in Applied Power Products (APP), you will be responsible for the mechanical disassembly, repair, and reassembly of electrical components in an Aerospace FAA Repair Station to include the functional testing.
Technician IV
Responsibilities:
Repair and overhaul Power Supplies in accordance with applicable repair publications.
Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine testing requirements and assembly instructions.
Test and repair components using technical manuals using common test equipment, hand and power tools.
Troubleshoot to the component level.
Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.
Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; and install components, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings using hand or power tools, soldering irons, solder suckers, wire strippers, nut drivers, torque wrenches, drill presses, and microscope.
Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, including iridite touch-up, solvents, degreasers, and abrasives.
Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities, and to resolve production problems.
Minimum Requirements:

Experience:
3
years of experience repairing and overhauling electrical systems.
2
years including mechanical and electrical trouble shooting electrical, mechanical components to include final operational testing.

Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
Ability to thoroughly interpret production or engineering prints, production planning information and assembly aids such as illustrations and wiring diagrams.
Abilities:__
Perceive and predetermine sequence of operations and installation requirements from sketches and oral instructions.
Understand oral and written instructions pertaining to work related matters, and maintain routine records.
Work effectively in a faced pace environment
Accurate color vision, near vision, and depth perception and other vision capabilities required. Manipulative skills, including finger and manual dexterity, adept hand-eye coordination and arm-hand steadiness.
Education/Certification:__
Electrical Systems Repair Certificate.
Associate's degree preferred: mechanical /electronics / manufacturing or combination of education and experience.
FAA Repairman and/or A&P; license is a plus
Entry level Six-Sigma, Lean, Kaizen training also a plus.
Eligibility Requirement:__
Must be a US Person under _International Traffic in Arms Regulations_ (ITAR rules)
Able to work under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) requirements to be eligible.
Working Conditions:__
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, heel straps, and shop coats
Requires lifting up to 40 lbs
