Our client is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Business Intelligence Analyst. This position will report to a Senior Manager working closely with the Project Manager assigned to the initiative. Individual must be a bright, clear-thinking problem solver who possesses the ability to synthesize metrics, translate them into practical insights, and communicate with clarity.
Responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand project objectives
Using a variety of reporting tools to assess content offerings
Evaluating data and interpreting results using a variety of techniques (Simple data aggregation, developing complex formulas, writing queries, and creating pivot tables, etc.)
Combining quantitative data with practical insights
Determining how best to deliver reporting to both internal and external groups
Responding to ad hoc requests
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
At least 5 years' experience in an analyst role with a focus on analytics
Strong knowledge of Excel and SQL
Able to quickly learn company-specific information to aid in data evaluation and analysis
The ability to quickly change priorities in response to the needs of the business
Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of media industry, including television and movie programming a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
