Sagora Senior Living is a leading developer and operator of independent living and assisted living communities for Senior adults. We are seeking a Cook for Lakestone Terrace, a premiere retirement community, located in Granbury, Texas.
Our Cooks are personable and friendly individuals who have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
This position is responsible for assisting the Culinary Director and meeting or exceeding the expectations of the residents by providing quality meals and excellent service.
Responsibilities include preparing menu items in accordance with recipes, cooking ala carte items, and presenting a finished plate to be served and enjoyed. Maintaining a safe, sanitary, clean and organized cooking area is also part of this role.
Skills/ Requirements
Ideal candidate will have one or more years of work experience in a commercial kitchen and possess the following:
Must have current ServSafe Certification and Food Handler's permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
