Assists Area Manager with parts flow through production, departmental constraint resolution and job coaching, training for new employees and development of current employees.
Essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Organizes workflow between departments according to production schedules.
May order manufactured and purchased items to facilitate production.
Communicates with area manager, line workers, and other personnel to identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the system.
Verifies that product is prepared for shipment to the next level.
May lead or co-lead Focused Factory Kaizen.
Develops and implements LEAN manufacturing ideas to support the product teams.
Assist in completing designated 30-day follow-up list items from Kaizen events.
Up date Q-Boards and assist with start up meetings.
Facilitates the delivery of tools from the tool crib for production personnel and verifies accountability in the event of termination of employment.
May perform a line function in the area assigned to.
Trains employees on safe work practices and enforces safety rules and procedures.
Directly leads employees in production, maintenance, & engineering. Carries responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, directing work and resolving issues. Be assigned the area managers duties in his absents.
Qualifications include high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Six months to one year related experience.

Supervisor Safety Training
Bilingual preferred
