QA Manager Summary
On behalf of our client Procom Services is searching for a QA Manager. We are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic candidate for the position of QA Analyst Lead to join the exciting and progressive QA team to support testing of Fraud, Collections and PAYplus Wires applications. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing on projects.
QA Manager Job Details
The successful candidate will be required to have prior Fraud, Collections and Wires/Payment experience in QA, have strong communication skills and be self-motivated, independent and proactive.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Application Manager, the successful candidate will be charged with the following:
- Lead/manage the QA team's deliverables of planning, preparing and executing testing.
- Review documentation to understand testing requirements, test environments and objectives.
- Review scope and provide estimates
- Manage and coordinate delivery and maintenance of testing documentation (e.g. test strategies, plans, matrices, execution/defect reports) for upcoming projects.
- Ensure test process, methodologies and tools are applied appropriately and that test phase entry/exit criteria are agreed to by stakeholders and applied by the test team.
- Prioritize testing tasks based on goals and risks of projects and ensure testing milestones, activities and tasks are completed as scheduled.
- Identify test data needs and work with appropriate teams to ensure data is available during the testing phases.
- Report the status of test planning, defects and execution activities, including regular status updated to the project team using quality metrics.
- Lead the defect triage meetings with the project team
- Lead the QA team in using test tools, defect tracking tools and other test support tools and identify and implement process improvements where applicable.
- Ensure all sign offs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases, matrices, etc.) and that testing meets requirements.
- Provide effective and timely communication with the project team. Ensure business satisfaction by communicating with them in a timely manner regarding test status, escalating and resolving issues as
- Provide subject matter expertise on specific application usage or area of knowledge (e.g., setting up customer data on various products).
- Develop and maintain relationships with project team members, third party service partners, and client areas as appropriate
- Provide support to the Business QA team during the Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) phase of the project.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing solutions.
- Advise Project Manager regarding overall quality of project. Raise outstanding issues through established channels.
- Work effectively as a team, supporting other team members in achieving project/ business objectives and providing client services.
- Conduct testing in accordance with established information security and information privacy policies and guidelines.
- Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and with business units.
