Summary:
Cleans assigned public areas, patient rooms, ancillary rooms, operating and exam rooms, office areas, and other areas according to established departmental policies and procedures. Under the general supervision of the Director, Environmental Services and the direct supervision of the Supervisor, Environmental Services and within established Elliot Hospital and departmental policies and procedures, the incumbent performs the following functions: Completes the seven steps of cleaning procedure for assigned areas including: trash removal, high dusting, damp disinfecting, dry mopping, bathroom cleaning, wet mopping and inspection. Strips, washes, and makes bed after a patient is discharged. Disinfects wheelchairs, stretchers and other equipment. Moves furniture to clean and replaces in proper location. Completes window, wall and blind cleaning. Stocks cart and supplies for work areas. Maintains equipment in clean, safe, and orderly condition. Refills and replenishes soap, toilet paper, paper towel and paper cup dispensers. Completes daily Environmental Control checklist of areas assigned with discharge list. Reports any broken, missing and/or faulty equipment or materials to Supervisor. Attends monthly meetings and participates in departmental inservices. Performs public area policing skills throughout the facility.
Education:High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:Related experience preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
