This internship is to provide a learning opportunity for a student who has been appointed to the Pathways Program with on-the-job training and guidance to further student technical development.
Performs selected tasks and phases of routine studies and projects that require application of basic occupational field theory and principles in the technical area of logistics and supply chain management.
Participates with senior personnel in conducting non-routine projects.
Provides assistance in planning, monitoring, and conducting special studies, projects, and initiatives.
Knowledge of basic occupational theory, principles, concepts, and practices in the technical area of logistics and supply chain management
Skill in applying basic occupational theory, principles, concepts, and practices sufficient to perform student trainee assignments.
Ability to follow instructions and guidance to complete assigned tasks and communicate information to others in oral or written format.
Ability to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather and interpret pertinent data, and apply established rules and procedures in order to recommend effective solutions.
Ability to learn and apply basic investigative techniques to accomplish work in the subject-matter field.
Ability to gather and analyze basic facts, information, and data, and draw conclusion.

This is a Pathways Program Student Intern position. You must be currently accepted for enrollment or enrolled on at least a half-time basis in an accredited high school, college (including 4-year colleges/universities, community colleges, and junior colleges); professional, technical, vocational, and trade school; advanced degree programs; or other qualifying educational institution pursuing a qualifying degree or certificate. (COPY OF STUDENT TRANSCRIPT/PROOF OF ENROLLMENT IS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED WITH APPLICATION)
Additional Qualification Requirement: In addition to meeting the Basic Qualification you must:
A. Completed 2 academic years or more of post-high school study leading to a bachelor's degree directly related to the field of the position (Note: Transcripts are required to substantiate possession of the claimed education)

ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS: The VOW Act Chapter 21 of Title 5, United States Code (U.S.C.), Section 2108a, requires the active duty service member to furnish a certification of active service. 3. Completion of a minimum of 640 hours of work experience under the Internship Program
4. Meet the OPM Qualification requirements for the position the intern may be converted to

It is important to remember that eligibility for conversion does not guarantee the agency will offer conversion.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
