Position Title CNC Lathe & Machining Center Operator - 2nd and 3rd Shift - IA #2443
We are looking for a CNC Operator who can set-up and operate Computer Numerica l Control lathes, machining centers and tape lathes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position:
I. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. From engineering drawings and program worksheets, set-up and operate CNC and Tape Lathes and machining centers.
2. Inspect manufactured parts to ensure conformity to engineering drawings.
3. Performs other duties as required or directed .
II. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
1. Read, write and communicate in the English Language.
2. Must be able to perform shop math and interpret engineering drawings and work sheets.
3. Must be knowledgeable in and about CNC tooling.
4. Must be knowledgeable with the machine zero and G and M codes.
5. Must be knowledgeable in the use of metal cutting carbide inserts and tooling.
6. Must be able to properly and efficiently use measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, snap gauges, thread gauges, etc.
7. Physically able to lift up to 40 # to a height of 3 feet on an occasional basis over an 8 hour period and must be able to stand on his/her feet for long period s of time.
8. Must have the ability to learn to drive a forklift safely.
9. Has working knowledge of CNC M-codes and G-codes as well as plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, mechanical and construction equipment.
10. Must be able to properly and efficiently use measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, snap gauges, thread gauges, etc.
11. Able to do minor metal fabrication and welding.
12. Must be self motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision.
13. Physically able to withstand extended physically demanding work that can include occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds over an 8 hour period and must be able to stand or walk on his/her feet for long periods of time.
14. Able to work weekends as requiredid has own tools.
15. Able to work in high places using a manlift or ladder.
16. Ability to bend, twist, climb, and lift above the shoulders frequently.
17. Must have the ability to learn to drive a forklift safely.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
