At the moment, this is an unfunded, proposal position
Program Director for the Night Vision Goggle III/Family of Weapon Sights (ENVG III/FWS) program in Survivability and Targeting Solutions Business Area, Imaging and Aiming Solutions Product Line. As Program Director of ENVG/FWS this individual shall:
o Make strategic decisions in a fast paced competitive environment
o Deal effectively with senior program level customers and partners
o Resolve customer issues of a complex nature
o Be accountable for an effective and efficient program so that sales, profit, and sign-up objectives are achieved
o Be accountable for penetrating new markets within the scope of the ENVG & FWS Product capabilities and for the development of winning proposals
o Be accountable for environment where each customer believes the program is committed to their requirements and objectives
o Ensure that programs within the ENVG & FWS portfolio receive the necessary support and services from the functional organizations to achieve program objectives
o Ensure the achievement of program objectives, budgets, and schedules by analyzing actuals and taking relevant corrective action as necessary
o Ensure an environment of teamwork within the program area based on a fundamental respect for each person's or organization's contribution to the team, open communication among team members, and a willingness to place the success of the team above personal self interest
o Ensure effective utilization of IR&D resources within the program area to achieve technical and competitive advantages in the marketplace
o Be accountable for defining requirements of the program area by disciplined manpower planning and forecasting and by obtaining required personnel either through the relevant functional organizations or outside hire as appropriate
o Ensures the adherence within assigned programs to the Operation Framework and the attestation to compliance within the appropriate sections of the Operation Compliance Statement

o Problem Solving Ability: Requires advanced conceptual thinking in complex and/or completely new situations
o Interpersonal Skills: Developed communication skills to exchange complex information
o Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate at a high level with internal and external customers and partners
o Project Management: Project Manager on large, complex projects or Program Manager on medium size programs ($25-$50MM in revenue) responsible for oversight of team and budget or Subcontracts Manager of a large, complex subcontract
o Risk and Opportunity management skills
o Potential to advance to the VP / GM level
Preferred Skills and Education
Preferred Skills:
o Program P&L responsibility with a diverse portfolio, including multiple contracts/customers/products/services/suppliers and geographic locations. Individual will have experienced this role through multiple business cycles.
Specific experience includes:
o Production Program experience, preferably high volume (>10,000 units)
o Lean 6 Sigma training, greenbelt or better preferred, with knowledge of defect elimination/quality, productivity/COPQ
o Design for Manufacturing experience on Design & Development programs
o Supply Chain Management experience
o Exemplary risk & opportunity management skills
o Leadership in Safety, Code of Conduct/ethics, diversity, and security
o Senior level customer interaction, with experience in relationship management
o Customer advocate with successful resolution of customer issues. Experience in industry networking, participating in relevant roles
o Ability to develop and execute an entrepreneurial strategy resulting in business growth. Experience in leading a capture activity
o Experiences in multiple Business Areas/product lines or sites
o Ability to successfully lead a team through a crisis, using change management skills
o Successful functional experience at level/Tier 4 Functional Management
o Ability to lead large groups of employees or teams and develop future leaders
o Evidence of successful international business experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
