IT Change and Configuration Administrator needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Melbourne, FL.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide change, release, and configuration management related assistance as opportunities arise
- Review the change management queues to identify changes that require attention
- Assist with change communication and coordination
- Identify and implement items for continual service improvement (CSI)
- Maintain ISO 20000 compliance and certification
- IT Change and Configuration Administrator responsible for maintaining and maturing the change, release and configuration management processes, tools, and culture.
- Dedicated to ensuring policies, processes, and procedures are applicable and realistic for the organization while ensuring they meet or exceed the standards required to maintain the organizations ISO/IEC 20000 certification
- Weekly Activities
- Post Implementation Review - Audit all Emergency, Normal, and Minor change requests during the post implementation review to ensure compliance with the change and release processes.
- Change Advisory Board Chair - Lead and facilitate the Change Advisory Board. Approximately 60 people attend the weekly change advisory board meeting.
- Representation from various teams, including AIM customers, are present during the CAB meeting. This helps ensure that a broad level of communication and coordination occurs for each change discussed in the CAB meetings.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- ITIL Foundations V3 certification
- Excellent Oral and Written Communications Skills
- This position is contingent on the candidate being able to obtain a 'Position of Public Trust' clearance, DoD and EoD clearances.
