We have an immediate contract opportunity with a large F500 client in the Quincy, MA area.
Responsibilities:
oDraft business requirements and write technical specifications for Cognos report, cubes, Framework Manager Packages
oDevelop Cognos packages using Cognos Modeling tool/ Framework Manager, including specific packages optimized for use by business users using Query Studio.
oDevelop Cognos content, specifically Reports in Report Studio, Cognos Cubes using Transformer, Events in Event Studio. (Dashboard experience a plus)
oWork on the redesign of current Cognos user interface.
oThe candidate will work closely with the business analyst or the end user to define/refine the requirements.
oAssist business users in developing/ executing complex queries/ reports using Analysis studio, Query Studio.
oAssistance in the maintenance operations of large Cognos installation.
oImprove the performance of Cognos by managing cube size.
Required
oDevelopment of Framework Manager Models and Query Packages
oDevelop Complex Dashboards, Reports and Cubes using Report Studio and Transformer.
oExtensive Experience with Cognos Query Studio, Powerplay Studio, Event Studio.
oThorough knowledge of the Cognos portal functionality.
oExtensive Knowledge in Oracle, SQL Server SQL writing skills.
oStrong problem solving & analytical skills.
oKnowledge of ETL Concepts.
Preferred
oExperience with Medicaid or Health care data would be beneficial.
oCognos Administration and User Security Implementation experience
oExperience with TOAD preferred.
oSolid grasp of the requirements gathering process preferred.
oCognos Installation and Configuration on Multi server Distributed Environment.
oKnowledge of Reports and Cube scheduling operations.
oKnowledge of Metrics Studio a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
