A Collections Specialist is responsible to meet monthly individual & team performance goals in the collection of charged-off lines of credit, secured, & unsecured loans.
Agent will be responsible for:
Managing assigned collection queues in a manual/auto dialer environment
Ability to analyze account data and negotiate payoffs, settlements, and/or short term payment plans
Ability to skip trace, review & resolve account and customer service issues
Work with team members & support groups in the collection process
Could be assigned to special tasks associated with the recovery process as well as PCM Collection team improvements
Fully qualified collector with minimum of Collector 3 level skills In addition to Collector 3 level
Responsibilities: Develops location information about debtors for purpose of collecting past due payments.
May work on special projects Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am -5:00pm and one week night 10:00am-7:00pm.
Basic
Qualifications: 3
years experience in a direct customer contact, service, collections or sales environment including a minimum of 2
years collections experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Highly motivated and adaptable to change
Detail oriented
Preferred Skills:
Wells Fargo PCM or Retailer collections experience
Systems knowledge of ECaR, SHAW, HOGAN and FDR
Back End, Charge Off or Recovery Collections experience
Experienced in manual collections
