Statement of Purpose:
The Registered Nurse maintains responsibility for the provision of professional nursing care demonstrated through the nursing process involving assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning implementation and evaluation. The registered nurse must demonstrate a competent level of behavior in a professional role-including activities related to promotion of quality of care, performance appraisal, education, collegiality, ethics, collaboration, research and resource utilization
(Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice - ANA, 2010).
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school for Registered Nurse
Certification / License: Current RN Licensure inMassachusetts-Current BLS required. ACLS preferred.
Experience: One year med/surg experience is preferred.
