The Milton Courier, a weekly newspaper, seeks an experienced news editor and page designer.
The successful candidate will cover local news stories, events, topics of interest, and meetings such as city council, school board, and other public meetings throughout the area through reporting, photography, and writing news and features stories. Assist with page layout each week. Assist the sports editor as needed.
Must have at least two years of experience, a degree in journalism, communications or a related field, or a combination of experience and education that meets the requirements, as well as demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
