Leading thin film technology manufacturer seeks engineer to design vacuum deposition systems. These systems are used for processes such as ion beam-assisted deposition, thermal evaporation, sputtering, and electron beam physical vapor deposition.
You will design vacuum deposition systems that meet customer specifications and train customers on its usage. In addition, you shall recommend and implement improvements to current vacuum deposition systems taking into consideration the material properties, scrap minimization, and profitability.
Requires 3
years experience with thin film coating vacuum deposition methods. Must also have knowledge of troubleshooting and performing maintenance on the equipment. Degree in physics, materials science, engineering, or relevant technical area of expertise.
