In depth Knowledge on Teradata Architecture and interaction with various sub-components like capacity planning, database, network etc
Infrastructure build - Architecting, Building and maintenance of new/existing Teradata environments
Must be able to work independently without significant supervision and must be a team-oriented individual with a results driven attitude.
Implementing/planning the disaster recovery plan for the application/environment.
Conduct impact assessment and determine size of effort based on requirements, monitor KPIs.
Comfortable in raising the Vendor cases and interacting with vendor on any issues in the platform.
Collaborate with product development teams and senior designers in trouble shooting to ensure client satisfaction with product.
Implement procedures to maintain, monitor, backup and recovery operations for Teradata environment.
Report regularly on health and performance of system, database environment and jobs.
Establish projects, roles, users, privileges in different environments (DEV, QA, PROD).
Perform database, application and system architecture design.
Perform database tuning including monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing performance of the database Archival, Backup and Recovery.
Proven knowledge of Teradata Data Structures and System Management and Administration including TASM, BAR, Performance and Capacity Analysis (PMCP), Replication and ETL optimizations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
