QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic quality programs and processes and the planning, management and coordination of quality control activities to ensure delivery of the highest quality products. The Quality Control Specialist aligns closely with operations, customers, vendors and others in support of the overall goals, objectives, mission and vision of the organization.
Essential Functions:
Establish, promote and maintain a quality culture through world class quality management that focuses on continuous improvement of all activities and processes.
Develop, maintain and foster quality assurance plans through risk analysis; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits; monitoring procedures, corrective action and validation procedures; monitoring inventories.
Monitor, maintain and improve all quality systems to achieve and/or ascertain compliance with ISO standards.
Initiate and lead improvement to solve quality related issues; ensuring corrective actions are comprehensive, effective and efficient.
Act as a change agent to engage employees to ensure quality processes are deployed and improvements become integrated throughout the operation.
Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing, maintaining and updating quality assurance procedures.
Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, and compliance audits; investigation of customer complaints; reviewing and analysing returned product (RGA process); collaborate with other managers to develop manufacturing and training methods based on quality data.
Work with purchasing on establishing quality requirements with suppliers.
Design, develop and standardize forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting all quality related information.
Develop test protocol and best practices to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends including failure analysis, stability studies, defects, corrective actions, and re-validations.
Monitor, report and advise on the performance of quality management and related data to ensure data driven decision making.
Design, implement, foster, and maintain continuous improvement programs in support of best practices and efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
Develop and foster strong working relationships along the manufacturing and distribution continuum and among other key functional units of the organization.
Able to assist the Document Control Department to implement changes as needed to minimize and eradicate risks of failures.

Intermediate to advanced level technical ability. Particular expertise in ERP and or CRM systems, Microsoft Windows and Office Suite including Powerpoint, and Internet.
Proven team player and a diligent customer servant.
Ability to successfully work both collaboratively and autonomously.
Strong organization, follow-up and time management skills along with the ability to effectively multi-task.
A high level of trustworthiness and the ability to achieve integrity on all levels.
EDUCATION and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred; emphasis in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Business, or Quality strongly preferred. Combination of education and certifications acceptable.
5-7 solid years of experience in a related industry or discipline with focus on operational excellence. Experience in quality leadership in a manufacturing environment.
CQE beneficial but not required.
LEAN Six Sigma experience very helpful.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
