BROAD FUNCTION:
This position will report to the Vice President of Operations and is responsible for leading a team of employees to meet the organizations strategic goals. In addition, this position will be responsible for implementing methods, practices and techniques that will ensure efficient flow of quality materials from suppliers through production in order to meet customer requirements. The person filling this role will proactively develop and execute a sourcing strategy to include developing and managing all supplier relationships. Manage and/or coordinate activities of production and capacity planning, inventory management, purchasing, resource management, supplier network, quality and continuous improvement. Must be a creative problem solver with the proven ability to effectively communicate and lead change in a highly technical and complex product environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the execution of supply chain strategies that support objectives for customer lead times and on-time delivery.
Responsible for material cost reduction, inventory optimization, and supplier on-time delivery, quality, and lead time.
Leverage SAP to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of the purchasing, planning, and inventory management processes.
Work collaboratively with Engineering and Marketing on new product introductions to meet project goals and objectives.
Strong computer literacy and knowledge of integrated databases and enterprise systems.
Ability to positively motivate individuals and teams to meet or exceed expectations.
Management style that complements a culture of high integrity throughout all areas of internal and external business activity.
Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and networking skills.
Effectively communicate with and engage all levels of the organization as well as key suppliers and customers.
Provide leadership to a team of approximately 10 people by promoting team concepts, coaching, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. Drive a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.
Allocate time and resources efficiently, focusing on ever-shifting priorities and continually seek ways to improve individual and team performance.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business with focus on Supply Chain or related area of technical specialty from an accredited College or University.
Ten years of progressively greater responsibility in one or more supply chain functions.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership and management experience.
Experience managing and maintaining positive external business relationships.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly motivated to meet personal, team, and corporate goals.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service for both internal and external customers.
Proven understanding of the workings of effective multi-national supply chain management in an ISO certified manufacturing environment.
Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated the ability to present in front of large groups that include suppliers, customers, management and employees.
Ability to travel up to 20%, including international.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Business or related area of technical specialty is strongly preferred.
The understanding of SAP functionality especially in the modules of materials management (MM) and/or production planning (PP).
Experience in a Six Sigma environment and/or certification.
CPM/CPSM, CPIM, CSCP certification(s).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
