Arizona Nutritional Supplements is looking for a Sourcing Specialist . You will support manufacturing through sourcing of raw materials and components. You will also idenitfy the best quality goods and services at the lowest total cost and greatest value for our customer while maintaining supplier approval documentation, evaluate performance and report accordingly. Along with reconciling and consolidating supplier base to meet current and future raw material needs.
Collaborate with Quality and legal department on documentation approval, supplier qualification, certification and agreements.
Solicit quotations on raw materials. Support Sales and R&D in launching new products and pilots through sourcing of materials that meet the customers' needs.
Asses performance and compliance of suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality and price commitments through suppliers score cards.
Mitigate price increases through re-negotiation of terms, purchase quantity and price accuracy in current market conditions.
Maintain integrity of ERP system data in relationship to suppliers, parts pricing and supplier contact information.
Negotiate yearly cost savings with suppliers, while maintaining best quality raw materials as indicated on internal spec sheets, quality procedures and customer label claims. Maintains reports on cost savings data.
Keep management, supervisors and co-workers in tandem with Procurement Specialist III informed of significant market changes on a timely basis.
Actively seek and recommend new products and suppliers to promote value improvement and development of high quality products.
Consistently review and understand industry standards, business trends.
Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure integrity of ANS standards. Meets with suppliers regularly reviewing business requirements and score card performance.
Perform various miscellaneous and non-standard duties as required. Such duties are diversified in nature and may be changed from time to time to suit the needs of the company.
Must have a college degree.
At least two years of work experience in sourcing or buying in a food related industry.
No certifications or licenses required.
Must have moderate math, reading, language, and writing skills.
Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to self or others.
Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
