ACCO Brands, one of the world's largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $1.8 billion, is seeking an Channel Specific Marketer for key accounts in our Booneville, MS office.
As a member of the ACCO Brands team, this role will work closely with the Sales and other functional areas as the trade marketer for key accounts. The Channel Specific Marketer will work with Sales to engage the customer early on with new products as appropriate to ensure the greatest success rate, in addition to working closely with the customer to determine gaps in our corporate offering for profitable incremental sales.

Responsibilities:
Develops account-specific product and promotional opportunities for specific accounts. These efforts should fully consider brand marketing and NPD work
Primary interface with Sales on the marketing, merchandising and promotions needed in support of driving sales of corporate brands
With Sales, develops and prepares the specific account listing and identifies/plans all work necessary in preparation for customer presentation
Manages account-specific product concepts and promotions
Collaborates with Manufacturing and Purchasing in developing make/buy decisions for account-specific products
Interacts with Merchandising peers in developing customer-compliant merchandising programs for account-specific products and programs
Coordinates presentation materials, samples and concept boards necessary for specific account meetings
Works with sales representatives in preparing for and participating in customer sales presentations
Assists Sales in developing competitive review analysis for specific account
Manage profitability of Channel Specific Marketer offerings to insure thresholds of acceptance
Assists with analysis of product performance providing recommendations of new items and categories
Monitors competitive product and trend performance to insure the development of products and programs that will maximize the potential for appropriate accounts
Bachelors degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related area of study
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a marketing or sales role is required, preferably with a consumer products company
Trade marketing, retail experience and SAP knowledge is desired
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to work in teams and accomplish tasks independently using excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills and must be detail oriented and self-motivated
Must be proficient with MS Office suite, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to travel approximately 15-20%

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
