Summary of
Job Description:
Oversee the planning and implementation of Spuncast goals for all foundry support operations (Blast, Saws, and Heat Treat).
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
1.Directly responsible for planning, coaching, oversight and documentation of all activities in the foundry support areas including but not limited to: inventory, production, staffing, training, safety, quality, employee relations and communications.
2.Responsible to work with Plant Engineering to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of heat treat furnaces and scheduling/execution of furnace surveys.
3.Work with Production Control to develop and implement production schedules for blast, saws, and heat treat.
4.Enforcement of departmental instructions, work instructions, and adherence to routings as well as all Spuncast Safety policy and work rules.
5.May perform shipping and inventory operations as directed by Production Controller/Production Superintendent.
6.Offer advice and guidance to Foundry Support Coaches in the areas of analyzing and diagnosing equipment and logistic problems. Expedite problem solving through the use of people and resources for corrective actions.
7.Oversee the upkeep of all equipment within departments of responsibility both cleanliness and proper operation.
8.Serve as resource to foundry support personnel and as an advocate to upper management in the area needs assessment for smooth operation of Spuncast foundry.
9.Advise on necessary major projects including installation of new equipment and refits or overhauls on existing machinery.
10.Actively involved in the retention of employees.

Responsibilities:
1.Contribute to Spuncasts Continuous Improvement Plan by actively participating on appropriate teams.
2.Perform other similar or related duties as necessary.
3.Ability to work required hours with little or no supervision.
Qualifications and
Experience:
Education:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in Management, Supervisor, Production or Engineering or equivalent
Course work or experience in Metallurgy / Heat Treating is highly preferred
Experience:
5-10 years Foundry experience
5-7 years supervisory experience in a foundry, heating treating, heavy manufacturing environment
Knowledge:
Superior knowledge of foundry safety and operations, problem solving, communication, organizational, analytical, computer, math, and interpersonal skills are required.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
This position requires an individual to: regularly stand, walk, climb, balance or stoop; frequently reach with hands or arms; lift and/or move up to 75 pounds; use overhead cranes; maneuver ladles and other equipment; read technical manuals journals; interpret a variety of instructions and listen to other employees. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employee may be exposed to high levels of noise and airborne particles. Use of hardhat, safety glasses, steel toe shoes with metatarsal guards, and hearing protection is mandatory safety equipment for this position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
