Under close supervision, supports the project lead with the organization's strategic plan(s). Assists with environmental scans, organizational positioning analysis and other studies. Coordinates input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans, best practices, and global and multi-discipline perspectives. Conducts external research and quantitative analysis as directed. Monitors budgeting processes.

This position is in Information Technology's Strategy Planning and Analysis group supporting executive decision making through maintaining an information factbase and development of ad hoc programs.
Successful candidates will have a broad foundation in the following areas:
Strong academic performance in foundational business courses, economics, finance, and statistical analysis
Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Access and all Microsoft Office applications
Highly motivated and goal-driven, with ability to drive results
Outstanding communication skills (both oral and written)
Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
Outgoing personality with confidence to work effectively with clients in a team-oriented environment
Broad experience with Visual Basic, VBscript and/or other common programming languages used for basic application and web development
Strong understanding of relational database concepts, i.e. Oracle PL/SQL, Teradata
Bachelor's degree in business analysis, information systems, strategic management, marketing, leadership and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Qualified candidates will possess critical thinking and problem solving skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
