Towson University is accepting applications for an Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment and Operations to assist with the implementation of the University Admissions Office's strategic enrollment, recruitment, and operations plan. Directly supervises all university admissions graduate staff.
Responsibilities
Oversee recruitment and manage the university admissions graduate staff; serve in place of the Director of University Admissions for external/internal events related to student recruitment; assist with development of strategic recruitment/marketing plan and develop reports identifying and/or defending graduate recruitment initiatives utilizing existing statistics and comparing Towson University's yield data; responsible for the day to day execution and assessment of the strategic plan; work closely with University staff to make sure the recruiting strategies work seamlessly within operations; serve as liaison with community and government agencies to establish off-campus recruitment initiatives; and serve as liaison to High School and College Counselor's to provide recruitment support to the undergraduate recruitment team as necessary for off and on-campus events. Special work hours required including some evenings, weekends, and overnight travel.
Qualifications
Master's degree required and five years of professional experience within College Admissions. The selected candidate must have knowledge of college admissions information systems, excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a high paced atmosphere; proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and a valid driver's license. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
Salary
Competitive salary and full university benefits that include excellent health, life insurance, and retirement plans; tuition remission; and 22 days of annual leave, 14 holidays, personal and sick days. The position is contingent on funds being available at the time of hire.
